IMPROVISATIONS | For those clever chickens giving improvisations a go ~ we aren't too strict as far as dress requirements go however we do request basic attire only as it is all about the 'dance improvisation' & not the 'look or costume'. We recommend a plain coloured or black leotard & no hair embellishments. In regards to Hip Hop improvisation, plain pants/shorts & crop top or leotard are also permitted along with plain appropriate shoes other than jazz shoes if desired but certainly not necessary. One thing we do ask is for no studio logos or writing etc. Plain is good - let your dance choreography do the talking not your outfit. Hope that helps.
****** IMPORTANT NOTICE ******
Due to OH&S regulations, TAP shoes cannot be worn on the auditorium floor ~ therefore we need your assistance & please ensure to CARRY tap shoes to the side stage area where you can quickly pop them on there prior to performances. We just ask you to remember to whip them off & carry them back with you when you finish your dance.

~ Due to OH&S with the sealant on the auditorium floor, tap shoes are NOT permitted to be worn when walking across to stage access as it is highly slippery. They need to be put on when you reach the side stage area only.
